I’ll be dead someday and I don’t want to
die but my life is kind of out of my
hands is what they teach at church and Sunday
School and one day I’ll be dead and see God
at least for a few minutes, if there are
minutes in the Life-to-come, before He
sends me down to Hell where I belong but
I told my teacher that I thought she said
that Jesus died so that we’d all soar up
to Heaven when we kick but she answered
I’m afraid it’s not that easy, Gale–God
still judges you whether you’re saved or not,
which I don’t understand but I’m not God
or Jesus or the Holy Ghost, I’m more
like a ten-year-old angel with no wings.
