A pint of
Goggle Fog
and steak fajitas
cooked medium
just this once-
hmmm?
red meat isn’t
usually my thing
but sometimes
you have to live
a little on the edge-
sometimes you just
need to escape from
the uncertainties of
this insane world-
this crazy life becomes
more of a blur as the drink
kicks in and more worth
while, the flavors of
the peppers, onions and
fajitas hit the palate, everything
seems perfect for once.
